UNDP Human Development Fellowships for Asia-Pacific 2007
Applications are now open for the 2007 UNDP Human Development Fellowships for Asia-Pacific. The Human Development Academic Fellowship and the Human Development Media Fellowship were initiated by the Human Development Unit at the UNDP Regional Centre in Colombo in 2006 and are offered once a year.
The Academic Fellowship
A student selected for the UNDP Human Development Academic Fellowship for Asia-Pacific will be provided financial support of USD 10,000, which will be released in two installments. The Fellow will be required to submit a copy of the dissertation to UNDP. In addition the Fellow also may be expected to present his/ her work in workshops/seminars and other events arranged by UNDP (travel-related costs will be covered separately).
The Media Fellowship
The Fellows will be provided financial support based on a proposal and budget. Funds will be released in two installments.
The final media product will become the property of UNDP and UNDP will be recognized in the output.
The Fellows should be willing to present their work at workshops, seminars and other events as may be arranged by UNDP from time to time (travel-related costs will be covered separately).
