Private Sector PartnershipsWorkshop materialsThe first Regional Private Sector Partnership Workshop was held in Bangkok, Thailand on November 17-18, 2005. It was attended by 27 participants, representing BRSP, BDP, RBAP, SSC, RCB, and the Country Offices of Cambodia, India, Indonesia, Maldives, Nepal, Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Thailand and Vietnam. Workshop objectives comprised a progress review of Asia Pacific region private sector partnerships, both within the Tsunami Relief Network, and in other countries with private sector initiatives. This also included understanding the roles of the various stakeholders (both HQ and in the region) for private sector partnerships, sharing Best Practices, and agreeing on recommendations for sustaining the programme beyond tsunami.
