Expert Roster

About the Roster

The Asia-Pacific Regional Centre’s Expert Roster is part of a global initiative to strengthen talent management efforts and service delivery to UNDP Country Offices across Asia and the Pacific. The Expert Roster has been set up to gather information on professionals with substantial knowledge and expertise within UNDP’s areas of support who are willing to be considered for short term assignments in the region. The value of the APRC roster is that it is federated i.e. linked globally, regionally and at the country level, and that it is managed and quality controlled.

The APRC Expert Roster is linked to the on-line web-enabled system WIDE (Web of Information for Development), a database containing the names of development experts and institutions set up to facilitate the transfer of expertise from one developing country to another.
